Toronto, ON (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Montreal Alouettes running back Brandon
Whitaker, Montreal linebacker Chip Cox and Winnipeg Blue Bombers kick returner
Jovon Johnson were selected as the CFL's top performers for Week 8 of the
2010 season.
Whitaker earned the Offensive Player of the Week honor after scoring a pair of
fourth-quarter touchdowns and gaining 74 yards on the ground, adding five
catches for 44 yards in the Als' 39-17 thrashing of Winnipeg.
Earning the defensive award was Cox, who tortured the Bombers in that rout. He

with nine tackles. This is his second weekly award, having claimed mention as
the league's top defender in Week 6.
Johnson took home the special teams award for the week by returning six
punts for 105 yards and a touchdown -- a 74-yard run which got the Bombers
within a score late in the third quarter. This is also his second weekly award
of 2010.

Durie of the Toronto Argonauts. Durie posted a career-best 84 yards from
